Gel Nails and Acrylic Nails for Lancashire

Artificial Nails

Nails are the most important part on a woman’s hand. The base of having healthy natural looking hands is hygiene. With the hygiene comes closer care for people who prefer artificial nails, gel nails, and acrylic nails. Not everybody has the time to visit nail salons or nail bars simply because of time constraints.

Nails both Gel and Acrylic are based on different types of chemicals to keep your nails strong and presentable at the same time.

Before having full set gel nails or acrylic nails applied I highly recommend booking for a full natural nail manicure to tidy the cuticles and structure of the nail before preparing length which helps me to establish which type of nail applications, either gel nails or acrylic nails would be more suitable to you as an individual. This will give you the best results and very noticeable nails.

Gel Nails and Acrylic nails are not a replacement and should not be regarded as such. They can however be considered as an extension for your own natural nails. There are two main approaches to creating artificial nails called tips and forms. Tips are made of a lightweight plastic that is nail shaped. They are then glued on the end of your natural nail and then an acrylic is applied over the entire nail. Forms are fitted over the nail and then the artificial nail is moulded out of acrylic and the form is removed and then properly shaped and buffed to a spectacular shine. Check out My Gallery for inspiration.

Acrylic Nails

Acrylic Nails help conceal or fix broken, damaged, short, or bad nails. Acrylic nails also help prevent people from biting their nails, breakage of nails, and protect splits. They are used when people are not able to grow the length and strength of natural nails that they desire. This problem can be solved by using certain nail techniques such as nail tipping, sculptured nails, nail wrapping, or acrylic overlays.

Gel Nails

Another material, commonly called Gel (a polymer resin) hardens under an ultraviolet light once it is applied to your own nail bed. Gel nails generally cannot be removed by solvents, but can only be removed by filing (or left to grow out with the natural nail).

Nail Art

I can offer you to complement your new gel nails or acrylic nails nail art. Nails can be further enhanced by applying nail gems, graphic designs, or specially made nail applications. My nail art is very intricate and will amaze your friends and family how detailed my own personalised nail art designs are. See My Gallery for more ideas.

All chemicals have side effects, so please be aware of them before application. I will always advise you on the correct nail usage. The difference is the products, techniques, quality, and look. Everybody decides for themselves but I would ask you to consider my recommendation and advice.

Once the false nails have been taken off they can damage the structure of your nail and they can become weaker and thinner. This can be treated with a simple full natural manicure on a couple of occasions to help the nail become stronger.
